Reno Ruckus

Reno Ruckus is a carnival outreach which provides a day of fun for community kids and families every August. All are welcome. Everything is free. It includes games, food, and other special activities.

Help will be needed in the following areas:

Set up

Primary Duties

• Be available at 8 AM.​

• Help to set up carnival stations.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow basic instructions to set up carnival stations.

• Must be able to lift heavy boxes and help carry tables & chairs.

Game Attendant

Primary Duties

• Collect tickets from families

• Explain the game or activity

• Encourage players

• Make guests feel welcome

• Hand out prizes

Requirements

• Must have clearances

• Be friendly and have basic customer service skills

Food Attendant

Primary Duties

• Sanitize/clean tables

• Clean up trash

• Ensure people can find a place to sit

• Help chef as needed

Requirements

• Must have clearances

• Be friendly and have basic customer service skills

Greeter/Socializer

• Make positive interactions with guests

• Make guests feel welcome

• If possible, give guests information about our church and our mission

• Fill in different positions to allow lunch/bathroom breaks

​Clean up

• Be available at 3 PM.​

• Put away tables and chairs.

• Carry trash to dumpster.
