Volunteers are needed to tidy the box and add items, if needed, from the church pantry twice a day, morning and late afternoon or evening. Many people in our neighborhood rely on getting items for family meals. Canned goods, bread, cereals, peanut butter and pasta are the main items taken each day. Some days people in New Cumberland fill the box for us! Sometimes all we do is check to see if items are all edible and safe for consumption.
